| Well yall I burnt thru my NT05Rs and they left me stranded on I-10 for a couple hours, must admit I expected them to last a little longer but oh well. They were great while they lasted. But they wore out a little too quickly once I had to drive the car for a couple weeks and so now I am wondering if anyone has any comparisons between the regular Nitto 05 and the 05R as far as the grip provided? I know that with any R compound tire the tread life will be minimal but as I rarely track the car and it sees mostly occasional street use I like having that grip and I really need it with my power levels. Any advice on this tire comparison or maybe another rear tire I should be looking into? TIA
